Seaside

There's a look in your eyes
from time to time
that takes my breath away
all the stars in the sky
shine their light from inside
behind the walls you've built
out of your innocent soul
through your precious heart
like a beacon in the fog
a lighthouse in the storm of life
your light finds me
the little kid inside
scared, lonely, alone
and reminds me
I've nowhere to go;
I'm already home.
